PURPOSE:

As the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic remain, it is imperative to continue public-private partnerships that help to lessen the impact of the pandemic in our local communities. The purpose of this agenda item is to allocate funding that will aid The Stewart Foundation in providing Rental and Utility Assistance and other uses applicable for ARP funds under the law.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The funding allocated will specifically help to address the economic challenges that have been intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic for District 5 residents. 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

To appropriate the following amount to The Stewart Foundation from the American Rescue Plan Tranche II Funds:

 

$50,000 from POETA Account #: 106388.63230.521209.10.5.602778
