SS - Geographical Information Systems Enterprise License Agreement (Sole Source): for use by the Department of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). This contract consists of the use of proprietary software that allows the County the capability to create publicly accessible GIS Apps/Dashboards/Maps, deploy software, and is fully integrated into other departmental workflows and business systems. This request seeks approval for a new three-year contract. Awarded to: Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), Inc. Amount Not To Exceed: $2,250,000.00.

PURPOSE:
This software has been utilized by the County since March 2011. The software has allowed GIS to be fully integrated into departmental workflows and business systems. It facilitates emergency services, police, fire, water/sewer services and citizens alike to maneuver the County and locate emergency calls with no deviation in course. The manufacturer is the only supplier that can provide annual maintenance, training and professional services. This request is for a new three-year contract.

Recommend approval of the sole source with:
Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc., 380 New York Street, Redlands, CA 92373
Amount Not To Exceed: $2,250,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents.
