PURPOSE:
To consider approving a Consent to Sublease by Pope Retail Properties, LLC, and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the Consent to Sublease.
NEED/IMPACT:
On January 24, 2012, the County and the Airport entered into a revenue generating Lease Agreement with Pope Retail Properties, LLC (DeKalb County Contract No. 11-800862) for Lease Tract A and Lease Tract B. Pope Retail Properties, LLC, desires to sublease a portion of the leased premises to Peachtree MIT, LLC, in accordance with Section 26 of the Lease Agreement. As a result of the sublease agreement, substantial benefit will inure to the public.
The County Attorney has reviewed the documents and approved as to form contingent upon approval by the Governing Authority.
The original documents are at the Airport.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This is a revenue generating initiative. There is no cost to the County
