Acceptance of Easement - As part of New Development (Decatur East) MARTA has granted an access Easement to DeKalb County East Freeman Street.

PURPOSE:
To accept an access Easement from MARTA for the curb cut on East Freeman Street. This easement is necessary due to the companion Agenda Item, wherein DeKalb County intends to terminate its former access easement. In exchange for terminating its easement, the developer, Decatur East Phase II, LP, will construct necessary infrastructure on the easement area contained in this item. The new access easement will allow County employee to access 178 Sams Street, Decatur, GA 30030.
NEED/IMPACT:
The acceptance of the easements will give DeKalb County access to its facility at 178 Sams Street.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.

Approve and Accept the attached Easement and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
