PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 4, 2018 for an amount not to exceed $20,348,555.00. This contract consists of outsourcing the management of animal sheltering operations and services for DeKalb County. This request is to extend the contract term through December 31, 2024 and to add funds to maintain animal shelter operation increases for 2023, such as labor, insurance, and outside veterinary services, until a new contractual agreement is established.

Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
Lifeline Animal Project, Inc., 129 Lake Street, Avondale Estates, GA 30002
Amount Not To Exceed: $6,300,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
