PURPOSE:
To obtain Board of Commissioners approval to place a memorial bench in Mason Mill Park Dog Park in honor of Jackson Cody Stenhouse
NEED/IMPACT:
At the request of the family, the Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department seeks Board of Commissioners approval to place a memorial bench in Mason Mill Park Dog Park to honor Mr. Jackson Cody Stenhouse, 1983-2022. Mr. Stenhouse and his dog Gal were frequent visitors to the park and sometimes found seating space limited. After Mr. Stenhouse sudden passing, the Stenhouse family would like to purchase a memorial bench to be placed in the park in honor of their son.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact, bench to be purchased by family
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the placement of a memorial bench in Mason Mill Park Dog Park in honor of Jackson Cody Stenhouse; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to the completion of the project.
