PURPOSE:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department seeks Board of Commissioners approval of a fee increase for horse boarding services at Little Creek Horse Farm Park from $650/month to $750/month effective 01/01/2024.
NEED/IMPACT:
The anticipated additional fee income is needed to offset increases that LCHF has experienced in staffing cost as well as other operational costs such manure management and the purchase of hay, grain, and stall shavings.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Estimated to add $50,000 to fee revenues
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve a fee increase for horse boarding services at Little Creek Horse Farm Park from $650 to $750 per month effective 01/01/2024; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
