PURPOSE:
To rescind the previously approved agenda item 2023-0833 for District 6 American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funding of $40,000 annual to total $120,000 for a 3-year commitment and sponsorship to support the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce with planning and establishing an Annual DeKalb County Education and Workforce Development Summit.
NEED/IMPACT:
This request to rescind 2023-0833 request will allow this approved agenda item to release District 6 ARP funding so that the funding source for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce with Planning and Establishing an Annual DeKalb County Education and Workforce Development Summit funding can be appropriated from 2023 District 6 Reserve for Appropriations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No additional fiscal impact to DeKalb County.
