PURPOSE:
To appropriate an allocation of 2023 District 6 funding of $40,000 for Y2023 to fund Y2023’s approved agenda of the 3-year commitment to the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce to fund an annual DeKalb County Education and Workforce Development Summit.
NEED/IMPACT:
To support the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce with planning and establishing an Annual DeKalb County Education and Workforce Development Summit.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Yr2023 -$40,000.00 from the District 6 Reserve for Appropriations.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the requested D6 Reserve for appropriation to the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or his designee to execute all necessary documents.
