PURPOSE:
To consider approval of the Non-Federal Limited Design and Implementation Reimbursable Agreement Between Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration for the Siting Study to Relocate the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) at DeKalb Peachtree Airport; and
To consider authorizing the payment of airport enterprise funds when appropriate; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
Limited technical and/or engineering support, design and implementation services are necessary to relocate the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) at the airport. The agreement provides FAA engineering services to conduct the siting study.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total estimated cost to the County is $68,322.40. The cost will be funded by airport enterprise funds.
