PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on February 8, 2022 to three (3) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $5,644,595.00.  On April 26, 2022, the BOC approved a substitute agenda item to correct a scrivener’s error. This contract consists of sidewalks, drainage improvements, minor road improvements, bike lanes, multi-use trails, curb and shoulder improvements.  This request is to add Fire Rescue to Contract No. 1281319 for the installation of a concrete driveway at Fire Station 19.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:

 

DAF Concrete, 255 N. Main St., PO Box 1816, Jonesboro, GA  30236

 

Amount Not To Exceed: $122,000.00

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
