PURPOSE:
To approve the acquisition of 3310, 3320, and 3330 Turner Hill Road, Stonecrest, Georgia 30038 (Tax Parcel Id Nos. 16-181-07-039, 16-181-07-038, 16-181-07-037, respectively) for the construction of Fire Station 28 and allocate $508,750.00 and associated costs to fund the acquisition of the approximately 5.1 acres of property.
NEED/IMPACT:
The County will acquire this property to house a Fire Station.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Under SPLOST Category 2A, $508,750.00 and associated costs such as due diligence and closing costs.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve (1) Acquisition of 3310, 3320, and 3330 Turner Hill Road, Stonecrest, Georgia 30038 (Tax Parcel Id Nos. 16-181-07-039, 16-181-07-038, 16-181-07-037, respectively) and allocate $508,750.00 and associated costs to fund the acquisition of the property, subject to completion of all due diligence; (2) Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute a Purchase & Sale Agreement in a form acceptable to the County Attorney or her designee; and (3) Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents in connection with completing this real estate transaction.
