This Purchase Order consists of the rental of non-CDL trucks to assist with County recycling routes. This request seeks to increase the purchase order funds to lease an additional six (6) 13-yard non-CDL trucks. Awarded to RDK Assets, Inc. dba RDK Truck Sales. Amount Not to Exceed: $540,000.00.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 14, 2022, as an emergency purchase in an amount not to exceed $505,200.00. On September 26, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the PO funds in an amount not to exceed $183,844.00 and continue the current lease of 4 existing non-CDL trucks through December 31, 2023. This Purchase Order consists of the rental of non-CDL trucks to assist with the recycling routes.
The non-CDL trucks only require a Class C license to operate and will help supplement the CDL driver shortage that the County is presently facing.
This request is to increase the purchase order funds to lease an additional six (6) 13-yard non-CDL trucks.
