PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on October 25, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $36,894,102.00. The contracts consist of storm drainage system construction services. This Change Order No. 1 is being proposed in order to provide Roads & Drainage the ability to fund projects through these four (4) contracts with a potential future Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) Clean Water loan. Additional contractual requirements not included in the original bidding for this project are required to be added to the contracts to make them federally compliant and eligible for financial reimbursement through the GEFA funding. The additional requirements include the Buy America provisions of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), American Iron and Steel (AIS) Requirements and the Davis-Bacon Act (defined by US Department of Labor).
