PURPOSE:
Design and installation of two (2) murals - one on Rockbridge Road and the other at Spring Drive/Poplar Road.
NEED/IMPACT:
Murals, and the mural design process, will be used as tools for community engagement, blight remediation, beautification strategy, and the demonstration of civic engagement. Murals will be designed to be reflective of the City’s commitment to its future sustainability and its enhanced economic position.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriation for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Other Miscellaneous Payments (09130.573099.272.0000.0000) - $20,000.
Decrease appropriation for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09130.579002.272.0000.0000) - $20,000.
