PURPOSE:
To transfer $25,000 of District 4 District 4 Youth Violence Prevention Discretionary general funds to DeKalb Human Services Girls Clubhouse Program account for 2024 program session.
NEED/IMPACT:
DeKalb Girls Clubhouse is a program designed to expose DeKalb County female students to personal, social, and professional development training skills they can use throughout their lives. The Girls' Clubhouse program conducts group counseling sessions to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of DeKalb teen girls. The program explores topics surrounding self-esteem, self-concept, crisis, problem-solving, communication, peer relationships, and identity development.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Transfer $25,000 from 2023 District 4 Youth Violence Prevention Discretionary general funds to DeKalb Human Services Girls Clubhouse Program account.
RECOMMENDATION:

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
