PURPOSE:
An item to allocate an amount not to exceed $5,000 each to the Arabia Mountain High School, Lithonia High School, Miller Grove High, Martin Luther King, Jr. High School, Redan High School Marching Bands from the District 5 Reserve for Appropriations Funds for Youth Safety and Violence Prevention Programs
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding allocated is needed to combat violent crime including behavioral health and mental health services. The funds allocated will help the DeKalb County Marching Band programs engage youth in violence prevention methods, critical safety training and provide youth with a positive alternative.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:

Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
