PURPOSE:
An item to allocate an amount not to exceed $25,000 to the DeKalb County Office of Youth Services from the District 5 Reserve for Appropriations Funds for Youth Safety and Violence Prevention Programs for the DeKalb County Youth Commission Program
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding allocated is needed to combat violent crime including behavior health and mental health services. The funds allocated will help the Office of Youth Services to engage youth in violence prevention methods and other critical safety training and programs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - General Fund - Other Miscellaneous Payments (09110.573099.100.0000.0000) - $25,000
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - General Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09110.579002.100.0000.0000) - $25,000
