PURPOSE:
An item to allocate an amount not to exceed $50,000 to the DeKalb County PALS Plus from the District 5 Reserve for Appropriations Funds for Youth Safety and Violence Prevention Programs for the DeKalb County
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding allocated is needed to combat violent crime including behavioral health and mental health services. The funds allocated will help the DeKalb County PALS Plus program engage youth in violence prevention methods and other critical safety training and programs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - General Fund - Other Miscellaneous Payments (09110.573099.100.0000.0000) - $50,000
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - General Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09110.579002.100.0000.0000) - $50,000

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents
