PURPOSE:
To approve the Tree Trim/Clearing Easement between DeKalb County Government and Georgia Power Company for the “Property” as outlined in the agreement at 4150 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta Georgia 30345, Parcel 18-232-01-001 for the amount of $6,851.00
NEED/IMPACT:
Georgia Power Company is acquiring this easement to allow GPC to protect the existing utility line and provide safe and reliable power. GPC will provide compensation to the County in the amount of $6,851.00 for the easement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
RPCA will receive $6,851.00 from Georgia Power to be use for improvements at Mary Scott Nature Park.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the tree/trim/clearing easement between DeKalb County Government and Georgia Power Company for the “Property” as outlined in the agreement at 4150 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30345, Parcel 18-232-01-001 for $6,851.00; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.A
