PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 7 reserves in the amount of $7,500 to the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs Dept. for the Briarlake Forest Park garden shed project.
NEED/IMPACT:
The $7,500 appropriation will be used for a match for a Park Pride Grant for the Briarlake Forest Garden Shed project, which includes the installation of a concrete pad (Sudlow Concrete), shed assembly, and installation by Home Depot. A garden shed measuring 10x20 will provide storage for gardening and maintenance supplies. The garden shed will be maintained by members of the Friends of Briarlake Forest Park.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following accounts by the amount indicated below:
Parks - Administration - Designated Services Fund - Transfer to Grant Fund (06101.611250.271.0000.0000) - $7,500
Fund Reserves - Unincorporated Fund - Budgetary Reserves (09610.579013.272.0000.0000) - $7,500
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09130.579002.272.0000.0000) - $7,500
Fund Reserves - Designated Services Fund - Budgetary Reserves (09610.579013.271.0000.0000) - $7,500
