PURPOSE:
To consider authorizing the payment of $135,538.66 to Georgia Power for converting Candler Road at I-20 interchange lighting to LED; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to this project.
NEED/IMPACT:
To improve the quality of lighting at the Candler Road at I-20 interchange, it is proposed that 86 lights at the interchange be converted to LED. The conversion will only change out the fixtures. Existing poles will remain. Expected energy savings is $340.00 per month.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$135,538.66 in Beautification funds will be used to fund this work.

To authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents pertaining to this project.
