PURPOSE:
To approve the acceptance of an additional $83,730 for the BOOST After School Grant Year 3. Total funding for the grant is now $233,730.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Georgia Recreation and Park Association (GRPA) awarded DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department $150,000 from the Building Opportunities for Out-of-School Time Grant Program in 2023, approved on agenda 2023-1031 in September 2023. In January 2024, GRPA increased the funding for this grant by $83,730 resulting in a total grant funding of $233,730. The additional funding will allow RPCA to offer expanded services to the participants in the program.
FISCAL IMPACT:
RPCA will receive additional reimbursable grant funding of $83,730
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the acceptance of an additional $83,730 for the BOOST After School Grant Year 3, total funding now of $233,730; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
