PURPOSE:
To authorize payment to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for the water and/or sewer
adjustments/installation to utilities facilities improvements associated with the following project; and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute agreement that allow for the payments and to execute all necessary documents to complete this transaction:

NEED/IMPACT:
Road in DeKalb County, Georgia. The Department of Watershed Management has existing utilities within the construction limits that are in conflict with the proposed work or need to be replaced. Therefore, the County entered into a Contact Item Agreement with GDOT to include adjustments/installations for M006293 State Route 141 from the Fulton County Line to County Road 7955 Peachtree Road in DeKalb County project to prevent construction delays, minimized impact to the traveling public. The County must agree to pay the estimated cost of completing the work; the exact payment amount will be based on unit bid prices.
