PURPOSE:
To adopt an intergovernmental agreement with Gwinnett County allowing Gwinnett County to conduct all permitting, plan review, and inspection activities related to the development of 8070 and 8080 Rockbridge Road for a self-storage facility. The development site sits along the county line between both jurisdictions. Ninety (90%) percent of the development lies within Gwinnett County and the remaining 10% falls within DeKalb County. The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners intends to concurrently adopt this intergovernmental agreement
NEED/IMPACT:
To avoid the duplication of services, adoption of this agreement will permit Gwinnett County to perform all permit/plan review and inspection services related to this project
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the county

Adopt the intergovernmental agreement no later than March 31, 2024 to facilitate completion of the proposed development subject to Gwinnett County regulations and processes
