CO - Change Order No. 2 to Contract No. 1259927 Water Valve and Fire Hydrant Locate and Assessment (City of East Point Contract No. 2016-1585) [DeKalb Cooperative Agreement]: for use by the Departments of Watershed Management (DWM). This contract primarily consists of performing water valve and fire hydrant locates and assessments. This request seeks to transfer the existing contract's remaining funds and contract terms from Pure Technologies U.S., Inc dba Wachs Water Services (a Xylem, Inc. brand) to Xylem Dewatering Solutions Inc., dba Wachs Water Services. PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC, on June 22, 2021, as a cooperative agreement in an amount not to exceed $5,249,250.00. On December 12, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract term through June 30, 2025. This contract consists of piggybacking off the competitively let City of Eastpoint annual contract for the performance of water valve condition assessments and evaluations. These services include locating, accessing, and clean-out of the valve structures; the collection of over 30 valve attributes and capture of a sub-foot GPS locate; and the documentation of necessary work orders that will allow for valve operability. These services also include locating and collection of attributes for fire hydrants; capture of a sub-foot GPS locate; and the documentations of necessary work orders.
