PURPOSE:
To accept a $50,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant from Park Pride Atlanta, Inc. via the Friends of Cedar Park for capital improvements at Cedar Park.
NEED/IMPACT:
This grant is designated for the installation of a pavilion and trees at Cedar Park. The pavilion and trees will provide additional shade and a gathering place for the surrounding community. The total project budget is $50,000, no County match is required.
FISCAL IMPACT:
RPCA will receive $50,000 in grant funding
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To accept a $50,000 Community Building Grant from Park Pride Atlanta, Inc. via the Friends of Cedar Park for capital improvements at Cedar Park; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
