PURPOSE:
To consider approval of the Non-Federal Reimbursable Agreement with the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration to Establish Low Power Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) at Peachtree-DeKalb Airport (DeKalb Peachtree Airport); and
To consider authorizing the payment of airport enterprise funds when appropriate; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
The FAA will replace the current airport DME facility with a low power DME, to be located at the Localizer shelter for Runway 21L. The agreement provides funding and support for the establishment of the services.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total estimated cost to the County is $29,801.20. The cost will be funded by airport enterprise funds.
