PURPOSE:
To approve an amount not to exceed $10,000 to support the "Environmental" Justice portion of the 2024 Leadership DeKalb's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Program that focuses on DeKalb County and our County organizations working to improve equity on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

This District 6 appropriation helps to support DeKalb's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion morning program, as well as Leadership DeKalb, DEI, and importantly how DeKalb County is progressively addressing and improving racial equity inclusion, environmental justice and sustainability initiatives that engage DeKalb County to be more equitable and sustainable today and in the future.
