This contract consists of maintaining the golf course grounds and facilities. This request is to exercise the 4th renewal option through March 31, 2024 with cost increases and increase scope of work. PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on February 12, 2019, for an amount not to exceed $712,235.00. On March 10, 2020, the BOC approved the 1st renewal for an amount not to exceed $712,235.00. On March 23, 2021, the BOC the 2nd renewal for an amount not to exceed $712,235.00. On March 22, 2022, the BOC approved the 3rd renewal for amount not to exceed $712,235.00. This request is to exercise the 4th renewal option with cost increases and to increase scope of work. Cost increases have directly affected the Contractor's ability to provide golf course maintenance services. Additionally, poor drainage issues occurring due to heavy rainfall need to be addressed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval to exercise the 4th renewal option with:
Cypress Golf Management, LLC dba Cypress Golf Course Services, 235 Apollo Beach Blvd., #422, Apollo Beach, FL 33572
Amount Not To Exceed: $894,739.42
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
