PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on September 26, 2006 for an amount not to exceed $315,750.00. On October 26, 2010, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to extend the contract expiration to December 31, 2012. On January 19, 2012, Change Order No. 1 was approved for an amount not to exceed $10,850.00. On July 13, 2012, Change Order No. 3 was approved for an amount not to exceed $11,250.00. On December 7, 2012, an extension was approved to extend the contract expiration to December 31, 2014. On December 9, 2014, the BOC approved Change Order No. 4 to extend the contract expiration to December 31, 2017. On December 1, 2015, Change Order No. 5 was approved for an amount not to exceed $124,167.00. This contract consists of the provision of architectural and engineering services and contract administration for the construction of the Ellenwood/River Road Branch Library. Delays have resulted from permitting time, discovery of unsuitable soils during grading and rain. This request is for additional time needed for the project completion.
