PURPOSE:
To meet State of Georgia requirements (O.C.G.A. § 36-70-1 et seq.) of counties and municipalities to adopt a local government service delivery strategy.
NEED/IMPACT:
This is needed to meet State of Georgia requirements for new municipalities to adopt a Comprehensive Plan and a Service Delivery Strategy within 24 months of establishment. (City of Stonecrest)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the County.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
