PURPOSE:
Consists of widening the road on the south side to add a two-way center turn lane and on-road bike lanes. In addition, a 6-foot wide sidewalk and new curb gutter are being added on the south side of the road. The project is located in Pine Lake and is approximately 0.3 miles long. Six (6) bids were received. GDOT requires that the County pay a program management fee in the amount of $15,000.00. The fee is included in the funding listed below but is excluded from the recommended award amount.
