PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on January 24, 2017 for an amount not to exceed $350,000.00. On November 14, 2017, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $665,000.00. On May 8, 2018, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $765,000.00 to cover the remaining renewal term of the contract and ratification of PO 1097064. On December 11, 2018, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $625,000.00. On July 23, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount no to exceed $637,000.00 to repair extensive water damage to Police Headquarters as well as provide funding for the remaining contract term. This request is to extend the contract term to April 30, 2020 and to increase the contract amount not to exceed by $180,000.00 to cover emergencies and remediation, including completion of the final stage of the Police Headquarters Reconstruction project located at 1960 W. Exchange Pl, until the solicitation process is complete and a new contract is in place. The new solicitation has opened and bids are currently being evaluated.
