PURPOSE:
Consists of providing emergency medical supplies for Fire Rescue and Emergency Medical Service units/vehicles. This is a line item award, but there are some items that are recommended for award to both vendors. It is the intent of FR to purchase from the low bidder for each of those line items. In the event of an emergency, if the low bidder does not have the item in stock or cannot respond in a timely manner, FR reserves the right to purchase from the high bidder for that item to ensure that operations are not interrupted. Five (5) bids were received.
