PURPOSE:
To approve amendment 2. To replace the old Mobile Market bus with a new van from DeKalb County Board of Health. The DCBOH will be responsible for hiring the driver and will oversee all maintenance, insurance, fuel and parking. Also give authorization for the DeKalb Extension Fresh on DeK Manager or Assistant Manager to act as a back- up driver for the DeKalb Board of Health Mobile Market unit.
NEED/IMPACT:
The new vehicle provided by DeKalb County Board of Health through this amendment will allow more reliable transportation to better serve DeKalb County citizens participating in Fresh on DeK.
