Consists of piggybacking off the competitively let Houston Galveston Area Council (HGAC) Contract No. RP07-20 for the implementation and support of the District Attorney's Office and Police Department (DA/PD) case management system and data sharing for the County. PURPOSE:
Consists of piggybacking off the competitively let H-GAC Contract No. RP07-20 for the implementation and support of the DA/PD case management system and data sharing for the County. NICE justice system will provide the ability to share evidentiary data in an electronic form and will significantly improve operational efficiencies. This request will also address the backlog that was created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a form acceptable to the Law Department, the County intends to execute a contract with NICE Systems that survives the contract term listed within H-GAC Contract No. RP07-20. The County's intended contract term will be through December 31, 2028.

Recommend approval to purchase from H-GAC Contract No. RP07-20 with:
NICE Systems, Inc., 221 River Street, 10th Floor, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Amount Not To Exceed: $2,862,170.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents.
