PURPOSE:
To approve the Tree Trim Easement between DeKalb County Government and Georgia Power Company for the “property” as outlined in the agreement at 1282 McConnell Drive Decatur, GA 30033 Parcel 18-103-05-049 for the amount of $57,960.
NEED/IMPACT:
Georgia Power Company is acquiring this property to allow GPC to perform tree cutting and/or trimming that will protect the existing utility line and provide safe and reliable power. GPC will provide compensation to the County in the amount of $57,960 for the easement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The County will receive $57,960 to be used for capital improvement at Mason Mill Park
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the Tree Trim Easement between DeKalb County Government and Georgia Power Company for the “property” as outlined in the agreement at 1282 McConnell Drive Decatur, GA 30033 Parcel 18-103-05-049 for $57,960.00; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
