PURPOSE:

To grant the two attached and related permanent easements, which are in substantially final form, that will allow the City of Chamblee to convey stormwater across two County-owned properties located at 3305 Catalina Drive, Chamblee, Georgia and 3393 Blackburn Way, Chamblee, Georgia and to operate, maintain, replace and repair the associated stormwater infrastructure located on such properties. The upgrade of these facilities has become necessary due to a planned development adjacent to the airport, but located in the City of Chamblee. All costs associated with the operation, maintenance, replacement or repair of such facilities is to borne by the City of Chamblee.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

To grant and approve execution of the two permanent easement documents.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Authorize the CEO, or his designee, to execute the two attached and related permanent easements, which are in substantially final form, and any other necessary documents, all in a form acceptable to the County Attorney.
