PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on August 13, 2019 to six (6) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $2,037,500.00. On August 25, 2020, the BOC approved the 1st renewal with four (4) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $2,125,000.00. Two (2) vendors chose not to exercise the 1st renewal. On August 24, 2021, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal for a total amount not to exceed $2,110,000.00. On June 28, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 with three (3) vendors to increase the contract term through December 31, 2022 and funding in a total amount not to exceed $760,000.00. One vendor chose not to participate in the change order request. These contracts consist of cutting, cleaning, spraying, and repair/maintenance of stormwater retention and detention ponds. Awards were made by tiers and provided cleaning and services needed for over 1,000 ponds throughout the County. This request will allow for the continuation of existing services.

The procurement process for new contracts is underway and is currently in the evaluation phase.
